No photo needed. Type your child’s name, what they did well this year and what they are wishing for, and an original AI Santa raps a 12-second shout-out made just for them: their name first, a win or two, a nod to their wish, and a merry Christmas at the end, over a jolly beat with sleigh bells. Nobody’s face leaves your phone. The lyrics are free to draft, every verified account gets a free 6-second preview, and the full video is $3.99 one-time with no subscription. It is a short, funny video message from Santa that you can play on Christmas Eve or send to the grandparents.
How to make a personalized Santa video
- Keep the Santa Rap template. It is already selected in the generator above. Santa, his workshop, the fireplace and the beat are built in.
- Tell Santa who it is for. A first name and age, then, if you like, what they did well this year and what they are wishing for. "Leo, 6. Did well: learned to ride his bike. Wishes for: a dinosaur kit" is plenty.
- Read the verse first, if you like. Open "Write my own lyrics" to draft the lyrics for free, change any word, and the video raps exactly that.
- Generate. The free 6-second preview or the full 12-second video is ready in about one to two minutes. Close the tab if you like; we email you when it is done.
What to tell Santa
Santa only knows what you type, and 12 seconds is about 30 words. He raps it in this order: name, wins, wish. Pick the details that will make them gasp:
- Their first name, spelled the way it sounds. Santa says it at the start and again at the end.
- One proud moment from this year. Lost a first tooth, learned to swim, was brave at the dentist, helped with the new baby.
- Their Christmas wish. A dinosaur kit, a unicorn bike, snow. Santa says the elves are on it but never promises it will arrive.
- A gentle nudge, if you want one. "Keep going to bed on time" works. Santa will not threaten the naughty list.
- Leave out last names, schools and addresses. Santa does not need them, and the video may get shared further than you think.
No photo needed
Many personalized Santa videos ask for a photo of your child. This one does not, on purpose. The video model works from a picture of Santa we made ourselves, an original AI character, not anybody’s real face and not any company’s Santa. Your child is in the words, not the pixels, so there is no child’s photo to upload, store or delete later. It also means one family can make videos for five cousins in five minutes without asking anyone for a picture.
Who it is for
- Kids from about 3 to 9. Short enough to hold their attention, funny enough to replay.
- Grandparents and godparents who live far away and want to send something on Christmas morning.
- Teachers making a shout-out to the whole class. Use a group name such as "Room 12" instead of each child’s full name.
- Grown-ups too. Santa can rap to your partner, your roommate or your boss. Just keep it kind.
What it costs
Drafting lyrics is free. Credits only go on the video: every account with a verified email gets one free 6-second, 480p preview, watermarked and play-only. A downloadable 12-second 480p video is 30 credits and 720p is 60. Credit packs are one-time, with no subscription: $3.99 for 30 credits, which is exactly one 480p video, then $9.99 for 100, $29.99 for 350 and $79.99 for 1,000. Credits do not expire, so a 100-credit pack covers three kids this year. If a render fails, the credits come back automatically.
Original Santa, original beat
The Santa in these videos is our own character: a jolly man in a red suit in his workshop, not a likeness of any movie, mall or brand Santa. The beat is an original AI instrumental, and the verse is written fresh for your child. Santa never sings existing carols or Christmas songs, and his voice is not a clone of any real singer. That keeps the video yours to share anywhere. Details are in DMCA and audio policy.

Frequently asked questions
How do I make a personalized video from Santa?
Type who it is for into the generator at the top of this page: a first name, then optionally what they did well this year and what they are wishing for. An original AI Santa raps a short verse in that order: their name, a win or two, a nod to their wish, and a merry Christmas, over a festive beat with sleigh bells. You get a 12-second vertical MP4. No photo needed and nothing to film.
Is there a free personalized Santa video?
Yes, a preview. Every account with a verified email gets one free 6-second, 480p watermarked preview that plays on the site. Drafting the lyrics is free too. The full 12-second video without a watermark costs 30 credits, which is the $3.99 one-time pack. There is no subscription.
Do I need to upload a photo of my child?
No, and you cannot. This template never takes a photo. Santa is an original AI character we made ourselves, so no child’s face is uploaded, stored or sent to a video model. All Santa needs is a first name and a few details, and we suggest leaving out last names, schools and addresses.
Will Santa say my child’s name?
Yes, the verse is written around the name, usually at the start and again at the end. Unusual names are sometimes pronounced differently than you expect. If that matters, read the free lyrics draft first and spell the name the way it sounds, for example "Ayla" instead of "Aila".
Is it safe for young kids to watch?
It is written to be. Santa’s verse is told to stay warm, funny and family-friendly, nothing scary or sad, and it never promises that a wish will come true, so it cannot spoil a gift that is not under the tree. You can read and edit every word before you pay for anything.
Can Santa mention what my child is wishing for?
Yes. Add it after the name, for example "Wishes for: a dinosaur kit", and Santa says he heard the wish and the elves are on it. He never promises it will arrive and never names a present you did not type, so the video works whatever ends up under the tree. Leave the wish out and Santa simply skips that line.
Does it use real Christmas songs?
No. Every beat is an original AI instrumental, and the lyrics are written fresh for your child. Santa does not sing existing carols or Christmas songs, and his voice is not modeled on any real singer.
How is this different from other personalized Santa videos?
Many are a pre-filmed Santa who reads a name off a list, often with your photos dropped into the scene. Here Santa performs a short rap written only for your child, from the details you type, and you can make another one in minutes with different details. The trade-off: it is 12 seconds, not a five-minute story, and Santa’s look is the same for everyone.
Can I be in the video with Santa?
Not in this template. If you want adults from your family rapping on a Christmas set, use the [Christmas rap generator](/christmas-rap-generator) with photos of adults who agreed to appear. Santa Rap stays photo-free on purpose.
How long does it take and how do I download it?
A render usually takes one to two minutes, plus queue time in the busy week before Christmas, and we email you when it is ready. Paid videos download as a vertical 9:16 MP4 without a watermark, which plays on any phone and posts to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or a group chat. Credits from a failed render come back automatically.
